The Hauser Lab is collecting the first field data at UW Madison! The lab is working on a collaborative project with the Townsend and Trowbridge labs to study Maples, Red Oaks, and White Oaks in the Lakeshore preserve. Dr. Hauser and Maddie headed to the field to get root core and soil samples in June and will return again when the trees start to go into dormancy before the winter.
